Ingredients
- beef tenderloin or sirloin - 500 g
- soy sauce sojowy - 3 tablespoons
- fish sauce rybny - 1.5 tablespoons
- sesame oil sezamowy - 1.5 tablespoons
- garlic - 3 cloves
- brown sugar brązowy - 1 tablespoon
- fresh ginger - 10 g
- chili pepper - 1 piece
- sesame seeds - 1.5 tablespoons
- lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- skewers - 12 pieces
- fresh coriander - 2 tablespoons
- cucumber - 1 piece

Preparation
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, grated ginger, garlic, chili pepper, lime juice and sesame seeds. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the beef strips to the marinade and mix thoroughly with your hands so every piece is coated in the sauce. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 2–3 hours.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes so they don’t burn.
- Thread the marinated beef strips onto the skewers, letting them wave slightly so the meat isn’t packed too tightly.
- Heat a grill, grill pan or regular frying pan with a little oil over fairly high heat. Cook the skewers for 2–3 minutes on each side, until the meat is well browned on the outside but still juicy inside.
- Transfer the finished skewers to a plate, cover loosely with aluminium foil and leave for 3–4 minutes to let the meat rest.
- Serve sprinkled with fresh coriander, with cucumber slices and optionally some extra lime juice for drizzling.
